LinkedIn can be a bit like Marmite - you either love it or you hate it!

It can be a bit clunky and has a bit of a 2007 feel about it when compared to it's cooler, more hip contemporaries such as Instagram and TikTok

But just when you start to loathe it and question why you may have a Premium subscription, you find out about another little known feature which makes you realise that in spite of it faults, LinkedIn is a prospecting goldmine.

So what little known feature are we talking about?

Yes, you read that correctly.


As a premium user you can contact up to 800 other premium users each month - on top of the standard InMail quota of 50 per month.

In case you haven't seen why this is important - LinkedIn allows you to cold message up to 850 prospects per month - and using Sales Navigator to find EXACTLY the right prospects, you have a very high chance of successfully getting through to the right people.

How do you know if someone is a premium user?

Simple - they have a premium user symbol on their profile, see below:
