You're Asking The Wrong Questions

I swear, if I got R100 for every time someone asked me: "So Mpumi, what is it that you do in Purpose Practitioners Club?" I'd be rich.
I don't think this is a function of me not being clear in my messaging or doing too many things and therefore confusing people.
I think it's people just being curious, because they see the movement, they hear the noise and they are witnessing the results that come from the work done within the club.
But still, this is the wrong question to ask!!!
Knowing what I do is useless information for anyone. Unless you're a potential investor ??
What people should be asking are these 2 questions. And by people, I mean YOU:
1. How do you do what you do, Mpumi?
Because this allows for you to tap into my mental model. When you come close to seeing how the strategies are developed, how they are executed, and the mindset and ethic that goes behind all of it, you have the blueprint, and therefore a higher chance of success. The people who are genuinely arriving at their success, after rubbing shoulders and making the acquaintance of really accomplished greats, do so because they have access to the mind and the systems of those people. The get first hand insight into the finer details, and they have very little to guess.
This is the mindset that made it easy for my former Regional Manager to rely on me for the overall team strategy, and even leave the management of her team to me when she would on go overseas vacations with her kids - albeit that I was only an analyst, with only 2 years in the organization.
I not only watched what she was doing, I paid careful attention to HOW she was doing her job. I could then do it in her absence, and add a little Mpumi Magic while I'm at it.
2. How will what you do benefit me?
This is key.

If you ask me what I do, I'll tell you I'm a coach, a consultant and a professional speaker.
