Your worried about climate change?

I do not feel worried or anxious about climate change because there is nothing, I can do about it—at least not anymore.
If humanity wanted to do something about it, we should have acted 30 years ago. Now, every year, there is another article about how we can still save the planet, but when we reach a 1-degree increase in temperature, it will be too late.
I also think it is selfish to say that climate change will lead to the end of the world, as we are only thinking about ourselves. Instead, we should say, "Climate change will kill all humans or reduce the population, allowing the Earth to heal again."
The Earth itself will not be destroyed; Mother Nature has ways to overcome everything. It survived meteor showers, the extinction of the dinosaurs, the Ice Age, and more. Climate change has already affected the entire world, from wildfires and unusual weather patterns to droughts. If it affects one area, it affects all of us.
I might have considered becoming a climate activist, if I had been born earlier when the first warnings about climate change were uttered.

Addressing climate change should have been one of our top priorities back then, rather than focusing on creating things that provide immediate gratification but contribute to our climate crisis.
I can’t go back in time, and I know most would not listen. People are reluctant to listen, and the generation that caused this problem will likely be old before the full impact of climate change is felt, so why should they care?
Humans are selfish, and people are resistant to change.
In the end, climate change could be as minor as a common cold or as severe as the black plague.
We can’t know for sure, but we can speculate.
