Shell Announces Circular Plastics Factory
Shell Chemicals Park Moerdijk has announced a new factory in the Netherlands featuring a Market Development Upgrader (MDU), designed to enable the reuse of plastics that are difficult or otherwise impossible to recycle. This facility will allow the chemical complex to process circular raw materials at scale, advancing Shell's commitment to sustainable production.

CB&I Awarded EPC Contract By Viva Energy
CB&I has secured a lump-sum contract from Viva Energy for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of two 10-million-litre (10,000 m3) diesel tanks, along with related civil, structural, mechanical, and piping works for Viva Energy’s diesel tank replacement project in Newport, Melbourne, Australia. The contract value is estimated to range between $10 million and $50 million (€12 million – €47 million).
Carbis Loadtec Develops Custom Metering Skid
Carbis Loadtec, in collaboration with a client in the Far East, has developed a custom metering skid designed for handling both liquid and anhydrous ammonia. This system enables a split between anhydrous and liquid ammonia across two loading bays, yet it can quickly adapt to handle only liquid ammonia within minutes to meet varying customer demands.

Rotary Engineering Awarded Advario EPC Contract
Rotary Engineering-Abu Dhabi has been awarded an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract to develop the TA’ZIZ Chemicals Storage Terminal in Abu Dhabi. The project will be managed by an integrated team that includes experts from Advario, ensuring comprehensive oversight throughout the terminal’s development.
