Power2X & Advario To Develop e-SAF Hub

Power2X and Advario have partnered to establish a large-scale production and storage hub for sustainable aviation fuel (e-SAF) and synthetic ultra-low carbon fuels in the Port of Rotterdam, Netherlands. The Power2X facility is set to produce over 250,000 tonnes of e-SAF annually, making it the largest e-SAF facility announced to date. This production capacity is expected to generate enough ultra-low carbon fuel to power approximately 7,000 flights each year between Amsterdam and New York.

AEKS Chooses Gerotto Tank Cleaning System

AEKS is a Croatian service company with significant expertise in cleaning storage tanks used for crude oil, oil derivatives, process water, and similar substances across Europe. With a track record of removing over 80,000 m3 of material, AEKS has continually adopted advanced technologies. Recently, the company has integrated Gerotto’s no-man-entry solutions to further enhance operator safety and improve site efficiency.

TotalEnergies Expands LNG Bunkering Footprint

TotalEnergies has entered into a charter contract with Spanish shipowner Ibaizabal for a new liquefied natural gas (LNG) bunker vessel with a capacity of 18,600 m3. This vessel will supply LNG to a diverse range of vessels, including containerships, tankers, large cruise ships, and ferries, at TotalEnergies' LNG bunkering hubs, all while adhering to the highest technical and environmental standards.

ExxonMobil Secures Largest US CO2 Storage Site

ExxonMobil has secured the largest offshore carbon dioxide (CO2) storage lease in the U.S., spanning over 271,000 acres, in partnership with the Texas General Land Office. This site complements ExxonMobil's onshore CO2 storage efforts and reinforces the Gulf Coast's leadership in carbon capture and storage (CCS). Dan Ammann, president of ExxonMobil Low Carbon Solutions, stated that this commitment to CCS will facilitate significant emissions reductions through a comprehensive approach that includes capture, transportation, and storage.

PT Oiltanking Karimun Terminal Changes Name

PT Oiltanking Karimun Terminal in Indonesia has been renamed PT Oil Terminal Karimun following a change in equity shareholding, with Oiltanking divesting its entire stake to Novus Middle East DMCC. The terminal is a Platts-approved facility participating in the Singapore Market On Close assessment process.
