TotalEnergies to Supply Sinopec LNG
TotalEnergies has signed a Heads of Agreement (HoA) with Sinopec as part of its strategy to expand its liquefied natural gas (LNG) business. Under the agreement, TotalEnergies will supply Sinopec with 2 million tons (1.8 million tonnes) of LNG annually over 15 years, beginning in 2028.

Mesa ETP Announces FlexCore Seal for EPA Requirements
Mesa ETP has announced that its FlexCore Liquid Mounted Seal complies with the new 98% emissions efficiency requirement introduced by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). On 15 October 2024, the EPA published its final rule revising 40 CFR 60 subpart Kc, marking the first update to the New Source Performance Standards for volatile organic liquid storage vessels (including petroleum storage vessels) since the 1980s. This revision establishes a more stringent emissions control efficiency of 98%, up from 95% in subpart Kb, and necessitates key modifications to certain floating roof seal configurations and applications.
Wood Awarded Vietnam FEED Contract
Wood has secured a front-end engineering design (FEED) contract from Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR) to upgrade and expand Vietnam's Dung Quat Oil Refinery in Quang Ngai Province. This project will boost the refinery’s production capacity and ensure compliance with Euro V fuel standards, supporting cleaner and more efficient fuel production.

First Oil at Shell Brasil FPSO
Shell Brasil has commenced production at the floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) facility Marechal Duque de Caxias, also known as Mero-3, located in the Mero field in Brazil’s pre-salt Santos Basin. The FPSO has an operational capacity of 180,000 barrels of oil per day, with Shell holding a 19.3% share in the project.
