Worley Partners With Shell To Decarbonise Operations
Worley is collaborating with Shell to support the decarbonization of its chemical plants in Germany. At the Wesseling site, part of the Energy and Chemicals Park Rheinland, plans are in place to cease crude oil processing by 2025. Worley’s first project involves converting the site's hydrocracker into a base oil production unit to produce high-quality lubricants, including engine and transmission oils.
Meridian Infrastructure Forms
A new company called Meridian Infrastructure has been announced. In a LinkedIn post, the company revealed its focus on developing and operating advanced, high-quality infrastructure for storing and handling liquid products. Meridian Infrastructure stated, "Our vision is to provide innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and protect the integrity of our customers' supply chains. We will safely, reliably, and efficiently store and handle a wide range of products and commodities, including lower-carbon and transition fuels, as global energy markets continue to evolve."

Linde to Supply Dow Hydrogen
Linde has entered into a long-term agreement to supply clean hydrogen to Dow’s Fort Saskatchewan Path2Zero Project in Canada. Linde will invest over $2 billion (€1.3 billion) to build, own, and operate a world-scale integrated clean hydrogen and atmospheric gases facility in Alberta, Canada.
