In this week's news,?Marsh McLennan announced a collaboration with Ukraine to provide insurance for Black Sea grain shipments, and Amwins ?completed a $1bn recapitalization transaction with its existing shareholder group.
Meanwhile, Arch MI said it is set to acquire RMIC Companies, and?Brookfield Reinsurance finalised its acquisition of Argo Group.??
As for the major results, Talanx posted a 38% rise in 9M net income, and?Aviva reported a 13% increase in 9M GWP.
Across the globe,?Sompo International saw an underwriting income of $340.6m in H1, while?MS Amlin disclosed a 91.6% combined ratio.
