We all know how interdisciplinary aspects are important for your Horizon Europe proposals. You want to go further? Adopt a transdisciplinary approach. That's the way to go.

However, don't worry, still struggling to make the difference chrystal clear in my mind ??.

But that said, whichever approach you'll choose, interdisciplinary or transdisciplinary research should be your mindset to deal with the complex societal challenges the EU is expecting you to address.

Another aspect that should not be underestimated in your proposals = Citizen science.

That one is a tricky one, I'll admit. But to stimulate your brainstorming sessions with your consortium about how to engage the citizens in your R&I projects, what better than a list of EU funded projects that will give you examples of high quality societal engagement?

5?? #Gender and the Gender Equality in Academia and Research tool

This post is not about gender considerations in your research proposal but about the Gender Equality Plan - the famous GEP ?? The European Institute for Gender Equality (in collaboration with the EC DG Research and Innovation) launched in April 2022 a tool to help you assess your practices in terms of gender equality. If you have not yet drafted your GEP, you could use the tool and navigate on the website from the institute, a lot of great content!

?? As a reminder, here is the Horizon Europe Guidance on Gender Equality Plans

And as a reminder, do not forget that in your proposal, you have a #gender section to fill which is not related to gender equality but gender considerations in your R&I project, not quite the same. This will be carefully checked by the evaluators. So, do you homework!

And please, avoid as much as possible to say that your topic is gender neutral, if you dig a little bit in Google, you'll discover that nothing is gender neutral ??
