Jideofor Muotune

Jideofor is a multi-platform content creator who is passionate about using technology to support storytelling. He recently launched 'The Afrowegian' platform using different art forms to encourage nuanced debate about race in Scottish Culture.

With a background in music, he co-founded Scotland's most successful independent?dance label 'Soma Records', co-produced techno-stalwarts 'Slam' landmark release Positive Education, and was also part of the team who discovered 'Daft Punk'.?

#BlackHistoryMonth - Support and Opportunities

  • The Athena Project?- a mentorship program for female BAME scholars in Higher & Further Education in the UK.
  • Minorities in STEM?- creating a network to connect, support and showcase Black and Minority Ethnicity?individuals working and studying within STEM.
  • Mind: Young Black Men?- a programme which works specifically with young black men aged between 11 and 30 years old.
