GiG to apply for QMRA quality mark in all qualifying markets
Affiliate giant GiG is to submit all its websites to QMRA compliance checks in markets where the quality mark scheme is active.
QMRA Director Steven Vrolijk said that the expansion of the relationship had stemmed from GiG becoming one of the first members of its original KVA scheme in the Netherlands: “I am happy to say that this evidence led them to be the first affiliate to make QMRA compliance an official company policy.”

Australia credit card gambling ban comes into effect
A ban on gambling with credit cards, other credit-related products and digital currencies in Australia has officially come into effect from 11 June.
Previously, players in Australia have been able to fund gambling using a credit card or other, similar products. However, the?Interactive Gambling Amendment (Credit and Other Measures) Bill 2023, which?was?introduced last September, has stopped this practice with the new ban.

GamCare calls for improved at-risk employee support ahead of Euro 2024
Gambling support charity GamCare has called upon employers to increase their support for staff vulnerable to gambling addiction ahead of the Euro 2024 tournament.
With Euro 2024 set to begin next week, GamCare has urged employers to open safe spaces for workers to discuss any gambling addiction issues, as well as direct them to appropriate services to encourage support.
