October is in full swing, and we’ve got an incredible lineup of events to keep you moving, from moonlit park runs to pretty countryside races. Whether you’re chasing a PB, taking on a multi-sport challenge, or running for fun, there’s something for every runner in the coming weeks. Let’s take a look at what’s coming up at RunThrough:
16th October – Chase The Moon Battersea Park 5k & 10k
We kick off the week with one of London’s most popular evening events, the Chase The Moon series at Battersea Park. Offering both 5k and 10k distances, this flat, fast course is perfect for anyone looking to break a PB or simply enjoy a run under the stars. Battersea Park is always a favourite for runners, and the moonlit atmosphere adds an extra touch to the experience. It’s the perfect midweek motivator to keep your training on track!
19th October – London Aquathlon – SOLD OUT
Our Swim Bike RunThrough London Aquathlon, combining a swim at the iconic London Aquatics Centre with a run through the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, is already sold out! This thrilling multi-sport event attracts athletes looking to test their endurance across two disciplines. For those who managed to secure a spot, it promises to be an unforgettable challenge. With the Aquatics Centre providing an Olympic-worthy swim and the run offering picturesque views of the park, it’s set to be a fantastic day.
20th October – Rugby Half Marathon
On Sunday, we head to Rugby for the Rugby Half Marathon. This scenic road race takes runners through the charming streets and surrounding countryside of Rugby, offering a fantastic mix of town and rural running. Known for its friendly atmosphere and great local support, the Rugby Half is ideal for seasoned half marathoners and those taking on the 13.1-mile distance for the first time. With its gently undulating course, it’s a great race to test your endurance and enjoy a well-supported event.
20th October – Running GP at Goodwood Motor Circuit
Also on Sunday, we’re at the iconic Goodwood Motor Circuit for the Running GP series. Offering a variety of distances from 5k to marathon, the smooth, flat circuit is perfect for runners aiming to clock consistent splits and chase down a PB. The unique setting of running laps around the historic motor circuit makes this event a must-try for those looking for something a little different. Whether you're tackling the shorter distances or pushing through a full marathon, the atmosphere at Goodwood always guarantees a great race day.

20th October – Battersea Park Half Marathon
For those who love the fast and flat, the Battersea Park Half Marathon is the place to be. 26th October – Carsington Water Half Marathon & 10k

26th October – RunThrough Trails Box Hill 5k, 10k, 25k & 50k

27th October – Haltemprice 10k
Rounding off the week, we head to East Yorkshire for the Haltemprice 10k.
