Is Your Website Ready for the NEW Google Search?

On April 21st, Google launched their new and improved search engine algorithm.

What this means for you: if your website is not designed to look good on a mobile device, you will rank lower on Google Searches.

For now, this change will only affect search rankings on mobile devices.  However, with 61% of all searches being performed via devices, if your website is not deemed "mobile friendly" there is strong potential your business will lose a large amount of it's web traffic.  In popular tourist destinations (like the California Central Coast where I'm based), heavily trafficked by tourists using mobile devices to navigate their trip, the impact will absolutely be much bigger.

Ready to find out if your site needs some TLC?  Take Google's mobile friendly test to find out whether your web pages are going to get that coveted mobile-friendly stamp. Google.com/webmasters/tools/mobile-friendly

If you don't pass the above test it is strongly recommended that you contact your webmaster and have them add a mobile friendly platform ASAP.  Not sure who to call?  Happy to refer you to some amazing web developers... just let me know.
