Will your waterbills going to explode on Waterfeed Window Cleaning ? The facts may surprise you !!
The amount of water used when cleaning windows with a water-fed pole can vary depending on factors such as the size of the windows, the level of dirt, and the efficiency of the system. However, a common estimate is that a water-fed pole system typically uses around 0.5 to 1 gallon of water per minute of use.
Let's calculate:
If we assume it takes around 5 minutes to clean each window, then for 36 windows:
5 minutes/window * 36 windows = 180 minutes
If the system uses 0.5 to 1 gallon of water per minute:
Minimum water usage: 180 minutes * 0.5 gallon/minute = 90 gallons
Maximum water usage: 180 minutes * 1 gallon/minute = 180 gallons
So, when using a water-fed pole system to clean 36 windows, you might expect to use between 90 to 180 gallons of water.
This cost will be around $50 to $100
from my experiences , 36 windows is one big house. like the one in magnolia area.
So it is quite a price but the cost to clean the frame and window arent really much a big number compare with softwash that usually cost around $500 up.
So it is depend on the host , if they willing to spend to another $50-$100 , because in Washington water was cost around $5 per CCF. With the shine and result that stunning, I believed Waterfeed is the way to go, consider it is much much safer and earth friendly to host or provider. Cost of $50 isnt much a big deal compare to environment and safety for both parties.
