So, parents are requested to share this newsletter with their kids and help them to boost up their exam preparation.

I call this newsletter?One2One (1-2-1), where I'll be sharing;

  • 1 story
  • 2 Productivity Hacks
  • 1 Must watch video

So without further ado, let's begin with today's story.

1 Story: Set Clear and Compelling Goals

“On June 4, 1962, Florence was about to become the first woman to swim the Catalina Channel. She had already conquered the English Channel. The entire country was watching. Florence fought the dense fog, bone-chilling cold, and many times, the big sharks. She was striving to reach the shore but every time she looked up, all she could see was the dense fog. Unable to see the shore, she gave up.

Florence was disappointed when she found out that she was only half a Km away from the shore. She quit not because she was tired but because she could not see her goal. She said in her public meeting “I’m not making excuses. If only I had seen the land, I could have made it.” And one month later she tried again and this time despite bad weather she not only crossed the channel but also broke the men’s record.

Morals-

  • Like Florence, ask yourself what do you need to do to achieve your goal??Write it down!?Having clarity??and??then??breaking your study goals down into manageable study tasks will help you to apply your energies where you need the most.
  • Students say that if would have known earlier that this topic is important and is going to come in exam, they would have studied it earlier but these are all excuses. They must define a clear goal in before they begin the journey of their preparation.
  • Almost every student has goals and targets but what they lack is planning to execute those tasks.
  • While completing any goal, you didn't face any problem, this is not practical. However, if you have clear focus on your target, you will not get bothered by the problems.

2 Productivity hacks (That actually works)

1.Use timer while you use phone- While studying, whenever you need your cell phone to check something, what usually happens is that we open up one app, then another app, and end up wasting our time using mobile and forget the main purpose, why we picked it up in the first place.

To overcome this,?put a timer of 5 minutes?before you start using your cell phone. This will help you kill the time wastage.

2. Zen Mode-?Most of the mobiles either have Zen mode or similar types of apps are also available online. Using them you can increase your?productivity?to 80%. This is because, whenever you put your cell phone on Zen mode, none of your apps will be functional and you will not be able to access anything.

But make sure to use it in small sessions.
