Is your vision board lying to you?

Is your vision board lying to you?

For true satisfaction, happiness, or fulfilment, consider a career or lifestyle where others hold you accountable for being your best. This approach might reveal that what you need for happiness extends beyond your initial fantasies and expectations.

For example, you may think you want a job in the music industry because you care about music, you're extremely passionate about it, you have some education or skills in the subject and it's "what you want to do".

But what if the music industry just puts you in a position where you do a job that practically revolves around Microsoft Office and sweatily pitching and presenting to unconvinced extorted artists?

You're not actually going to serve your needs by chasing your ego's demands to tick off the vision board and make your dreams come true if your vision board is lying to you about who you want to be.

Is that award show, that $100 bill, that sell out stadium really what you want to be?

"I just wanted to make music man. Chill, laugh with loved ones and have some peace."

You have so many conflicting needs as a creative person; emotional, social, career, survival, artistic, basic, logical and cognitive stimulation...

Are you sure you're prioritising the right ones?

Let's work it out together.
