In 2023, we experienced a significant advancement in the use of AI and GenAI. For many years, we have utilized analytical AI, specifically IBM Watson, to identify trends and opportunities in existing data. GenAI also focuses on existing data but aims to develop new expressions and user interfaces.
Throughout the year, we developed a range of virtual assistants using GenAI, each designed to support various learning processes, whether it's gaining new insights, retraining, supplementary education, or more specialized knowledge. Each assistant is an expert in a particular area, possessing in-depth knowledge of specific subjects rather than a broad, general understanding.
All assistants are built on a platform that allows us to train language models for specific areas. We control the models' knowledge, their sources, and we can directly observe the questions posed and the answers generated. We examine whether a prompt is simple, whether it's part of a dialogue, and whether the interaction between the model and the prompt leads to further questions. These aspects demonstrate different ways to learn, study, seek answers, and gain greater understanding.
