Imagine that you are living in your vehicle during the winter somewhere in northeast Wisconsin…and you’re cold.

…Anticipating a winter storm…and then Blizzard Bennett.
…Your heater in your car doesn’t work…
…and local warming shelters are full…
These were the circumstances for an elderly homeless veteran named "Arthur" (Name changed for privacy), whom we recently met. Similar circumstances exist for other people in our community, too.
Because of your support, the extensive collaborative partnerships with local, state, and federal resources, and our team, we are able to help "Arthur" through our Veterans Emergency Fund.
"Arthur" is now checked in, warm, and safe for at least the next 7 nights and has more time for Hope and to connect to other resources and opportunities.
You could see this new Hope in his eyes as he said these words.
