Do you ever feel like you're sailing through life without a rudder to help you navigate? Do you ever feel a little confused, aimless, or lost?
If this is the case, you probably don't know your values.
Values are like a compass, knowing your values will give your life meaning and purpose, you will have a better sense of direction, be more grounded, make better decisions, and will generally be happier when you know what is most important to you in both your professional and personal life.?
Values are also subjective and may change over time. Some commonly held values include integrity, loyalty, compassion and honesty.
When we declare: That person possesses strong character, it means they consistently uphold their values and doing the right thing, even when they’re under stress and when nobody’s looking. That’s what makes them great!
The list below is great to explore your values in what you want in life, what is important. Values are UNIQUE to each of us and there is no right or wrong.
The outcome of this exercise is to clearly defining your 10 highly valued criteria in life and what will be your own individual compass.
