Your Time To Shine - Workforce Analytics Excellence Awards 2016

Your Time To Shine - Workforce Analytics Excellence Awards 2016

In our office we live and breathe Workforce Analytics every single day as part of our job. Since it occupies so much of our thoughts while we create and organise our summit series, sometimes we make the mistake of assuming that every HR professional around the world also has HR Analytics on their minds. While it is – sadly – not true, the good news is that in the past years the subject matter has conquered more and more ground, and companies of all sizes around the world start learning how to work with the immense data load they gather each day, and how to turn the findings into actionable insight. Years ago the majority of businesses still looked sceptically at data – big or small, and today we either see them taking their first steps towards incorporating HR Analytics into their corporate HR strategy, or see them taking the scene by storm with highly successful business-focused Workforce Analytics projects.

We are dedicated to find the latter and reward them for their excellence in a field that is still more of a challenge than a well-travelled path. In order to do that we have launched the

that aims to draw attention to the pioneers in HR Analytics who can serve as a prime example of People Analytics excellence put into practice.

Our Panel of Judges features some of the most renowned experts in Workforce Analytics, such as Josh Bersin, founder of Deloitte by Bersin, Ian O’Keefe from Google Inc., Thomas Hedegaard Rasmussen from Shell International,Jeremy Shapiro on behalf of Morgan Stanley, Salvador Malo from Ericsson, Dana Minbaeva, professor in HRM at the Copenhagen Business School, Stela Lupushor from TIAA CERF, Jonathan Ferrar, Vice President of the Awards’ Diamond Sponsor IBM Smarter Workforce, and two of the most knowledgeable solution providers in HR Analytics,Luk Smeyers, CEO of iNostix and David Green, Director of Cielo.

As Ian O’Keefe, People Analytics Leader of Google puts it:

?In many ways, the field of HR Analytics is still in its infancy. Belonging to the growing community of practitioners is a great way to learn and help advance the craft. The Awards are a great way to see how some of the leading organizations in the field are using data to tackle some very challenging questions.”

Our Judges will look for real-life, tried and tested Workforce Analytics projects that stand out from the rest – the gems, the examples of lateral thinking, excellence and tangible results.

Companies from all across the globe are welcome to submit their case studies for either or both the European and the US version of the Workforce Analytics Excellence Awards 2016. Entry is free for everyone, so getting recognised by the best in the industry as the best in the industry has never been easier.

The deadline for the European awards is 20th November, and only a 1-page short summary is required to have a chance at being selected by the Panel of Judges for the second round of the competition, where case studies can –and are required to– be  described in detail. The winners will be awarded and celebrated at the upcoming Workforce Analytics Summit in Amsterdam on 8 March.

To find out more about the details please visit the Awards website, select the Awards of your choice and download the awards brochure.

?To paraphrase a recent article by Deloitte, HR’s uptake of analytics is still stuck in neutral. This is perplexing given the overwhelming evidence that analytics presents a huge opportunity for HR. From my experience there seems to be two key blockers preventing wider spread adoption – fear (as in too much) and knowledge (as in too little). Initiatives such as these Awards highlight the great work some companies are already doing in this
field, recognise those pioneers who are carrying the banner for HR analytics, and should act as an example for other companies to take up the mettle.”
David Green, Director & VP HR Analytics, Cielo

The time to take up said mettle and show true excellence in this increasingly popular yet still somewhat mysterious field that is called Workforce Analytics is NOW.

We hope to see you among our winners!
