This is the what I shared with my team…and the reason why I am sharing it over here is : at company level many of the orgs are implementing some great Covid related policies to help their employees and as leaders the least we can do to our own teammates - is help them sustain another day without being too overwhelmed by everything that's impacting their close family & friends…
Side with your team folks…work can always wait…

Hey all…
With all the gloom around us - it's really important for each of us to find our own anchor point to sustain & survive through these turbulent times and momentarily forget everything else…
May I take the liberty & suggest something for us all please…
Starting today for the next few weeks - let's all block 1 hour of each morning from 9AM – 10 AM to do something that will brighten up our day…
May be…
- Watch a nice rom-com episode from Friends / Sienfeld / How I met your mother / Big Bang Theory / Two & Half men…
- Cook a nice breakfast for your loved ones..
- Watch a cartoon with your kid or walk the memory lane on a long lost memory with your loved one or a friend..
- Check on the well being of your parents – let them know how much you love them.
- Take an extended nap / do yoga or meditate or just listen to your fav Maestro ilayaraja / Led Zeppelin / Md.Rafi / Bob Dylan / Imagine Dragons / MS Subbulakshmi songs…
- Read a book or play with your pup or water your plants..
…Just about anything that will bring a smile to you & help you sail through the day.
Nothing is more important than family & friends…
This is YOUR time…make the best use of it…
Live in the moment….
(we will move all our prior scheduled meetings away from this time slot - if possible, let's share what is it that has brought a smile to u today with rest of our group please... we need all the good energy around us…)
