I truly believe that what we think about, we bring about. This is why it is so important to understand whether your thoughts are helping or limiting you!
It can be extremely difficult to imagine changing your mindset when it has been functioning the same way for so long. Luckily though, it is entirely possible.

Retrain Your Brain -- It’s important to examine your way of thinking and ask yourself if you want to change it or not. If you set a goal and you do not meet it, it is important to recognize that you are “in the process!” Enjoying the journey is as important as arriving at the destination.
“Extend or Amend” Your Goals -- What you may not realize is that it’s okay for your goals to change. In fact, sometimes it’s downright necessary. We need to be flexible. If we grow too attached to the idea of accomplishing something in a specific way, by a specific time, if we do not meet the goal in that manner, this can create discouragement and result in us becoming less productive/successful.
You CAN Change Your Thoughts and Feelings -- Our thoughts and feelings are shaped by our life experiences. In author Miguel Ruiz’s The Four Agreements, Ruiz discusses four agreements that we should make with ourselves to achieve personal freedom. One of these agreements is “Don’t take anything personally.” As the book explains, nothing people ever do is about us; it 's about them. Therefore, by the same token, nothing we ever do is about others; it’s about us.
Determine Your Destiny —
> Decisions: Rather than existing and waiting or life to happen to us, we are capable of making life happen for us. Find a list of questions to help you HERE
> Beliefs: Our beliefs are often created at a young age from what we have experienced. All of our beliefs are integral to achieving success.
> Change: Our beliefs are, in fact, decisions. These decisions are either working for or against us.
Realize Your Destiny & Goals —
1. Set goals and put them in writing (See S.M.A.R.T. Goals below)
2. Create a plan
3. Develop a support group
4. Have faith in yourself and your plan
5. Be persistent!

“I’ve missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I’ve been trusted to take the game-winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.” – Michael Jordan, Basketball Legend
