Your support makes a difference
It’s hard to believe this week marks a year since the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a global pandemic and a State of Emergency was declared here in the U.S.
In this moment of reflection, we thank you for the tremendous support you provided us during the most challenging year of our history. As a proud 95-year-old company, we’ve experienced challenges before – but never a year like the one we have all just been through.
From the beginning, Delta’s focus has been on putting people – and your safety and the safety of our employees – first. And that commitment has not wavered and never will.
Your notes of appreciation for the care and service you received from Delta employees have made a difference. Messages like, “Hang in there, Delta. I miss you. I'm going to be back soon,” and notes from customers declining refunds and instead saying, “I'll take an eCredit. I'm coming back to you,” really moved us.
These heartfelt messages continue to motivate us and give us the strength to fight hard to get to the other side. As we recover, we hope to be more resilient and more appreciative of the life around us and the meaningful work we all do for each other.
There are still challenges ahead, but I remain incredibly hopeful and expect 2021 will be a year of reconnection with the people and places we love as vaccinations continue and our world safely reopens.
On behalf of Delta’s 75,000 employees, thank you. To those of you who traveled with us during the pandemic, thank you for trusting us. To those of you who are planning a trip, thank you for considering us. To those of you who are unsure when you will travel but continue to connect with us, thank you for your support.
Your loyalty has meant more to all of us in the past year than you will ever know – thank you again for sticking with us. We can't wait to serve you again soon.

3 年I think you should step down and allow a person of color to take your position, your a clown let a real manager in there not another wanna be politician stay in your lane or move on your shaming the Delta name

3 年Companies to not belong in the political arena. It not your place to tell us, the American People, how you political believe. If you are going to take stance on Georgia's laws which I doubt you have read than you must be willing to take our Federal Government on and stand up to the many illegals that are coming across our borders without vaccinations to protect American lives. There are sooo many more issues that you could have take a stance on. I to am a long customer of Delta's but will be looking at options as we travel in the future since you believe that provide a service to customers is not your primary and sole purpose as a business!!

3 年You obviously did not read and certainly did not study the content of the?recently passed election law in Georgia. It actually gives voters, inter alia,?more time to vote. Stop mouthing WOKE ideology and use your own brain. Just to give you a foretaste of things to come, neither I, my?friends nor business?colleagues will be flying Delta, using Aflac or shopping at Home Depot just for a start.?Consuming Coca Cola products will be frowned upon. You have bitten the hand that feeds you

3 年Delta has gone woke and I just switched airlines for my trip as they you have become to political regarding Georgia's new voting law which actually adds more days and times to vote, allows food and beverages to to consumed while in line. Political groups cannot hand out water to try to get votes for their party. Also 97% of people in Georgia have ID's. I think Delta requires ID's also. Please Delta fly planes and stay out of politics. Half of your clients voted for Trump and are conservative. I cannot believe A Southern based company has become so WOKE , Do you think all of us conservatives are so weak and passive, WE are waking up and will remember you and coke and others.

3 年Ed - I agree you have lost your mind. All of these election reform proposals that you object to are designed to make it easier to vote and harder to cheat.?It’s clear to me that your opposition to?election reform?laws like the one recently enacted in Georgia is rooted in the idea that minorities aren't smart enough to understand basic rules or to understand how to get a photo id. That's where the racism is in this issue.?You need a photo id to do virtually anything in this country, open a bank account, sign a lease, rent a car, stay in a hotel, take a flight on Delta or any other airline, get a prescription, buy an alcoholic beverage and on and on. So, what’s all the fuss over requiring a photo id in order to vote. As Joe Biden would say, “Come on man.” Further your company’s opposition to them make it clear to me that your executives did not even read the voter reform bills.? More than 74 million Americans voted Republican in the last Presidential election. Most of whom feel that voter integrity is vitally important to the democracy of this country. We don’t need or want Delta to be telling us how we should think on these types of issues. I suggest you get off your high horse and stop preaching. Do what you should be doing which is to produce and market high value products and services so that you can return a profit for your investors.? You can be sure that I am not alone in this strongly held view, I have lots of choices when it comes to air travel and Delta is off my list. I sincerely hope not permanently.? Sincerely John McAuley
