I am always optimistic about the impact The Campaign School at Yale will have on increasing the diversity of our political landscape, and this year was no exception. In 2022, we trained over 1000 people between our Summer Session and one-day trainings. Our Class of 2022 was a shining example of how TCSYale is leading the way in closing the political gender gap while also increasing the diversity of our student population.

• People of color comprised nearly 2/3 of our class
• Students came from 21 states and 14 countries
• 1/2 of the class ran for election this cycle

Over five days, 31 instructors immersed our students in everything they needed to know about running a successful political campaign. Our graduates left us with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to make a difference in the world— we are so excited to see what they accomplish.

This is only possible because of your generosity. We were able to provide $15,000 in scholarships this year to students with great potential but without the financial means to attend our program.

In addition to the scholarships, TCSYale supporters help fund our five-day and one-day training sessions, as well as our ongoing mentoring activities. We are immensely grateful to you for supporting the TCSYale mission and providing us with the ability to sponsor our students in this way.

The mid-term campaign cycle was a tremendous success for our TCSYale graduates. The majority of our candidates won their races on the national, state and local levels, and many TCSYale graduates serving as campaign managers won their campaigns.

2023 will be another big year for us. After a three-year hiatus, we are ECSTATIC that our five-day Summer Session will be back on campus at Yale! We expect great interest in our 2023 summer session now that we will be returning to the Yale Law School campus. Planning is already underway for this momentous occasion.?
