Yes, and there are different kinds of success, e.g. emotional success. Here you make peace with someone, overcoming your Anger for example. Or mind success when you achieve a degree or learn something new. Personal success could be if someone is able to get up in the morning or still open their eyes or overcoming disease. We often only measure financial success, because it is the easiest to measure. If you take into account all the other forms of success then everybody is successful who is still alive. ??
