A good story is not without challenge, so, you, as the hero of your own story, who cannot control many of the external circumstances - must be aware of your strengths. These are what you must use on your journey.
You are writing this story - so be kind. Self-compassion is for the tough, the brave and bold. When you are facing adversity - you need an internal voice cheering you on and reminding you that heroes are human, heroes can (and will) make mistakes in common with humanity. That voice must keep drawing on those strengths to work towards your aims and treasure your values.
