Your "shortcomings" are shortcomings of the mind, not the?soul.

Your "shortcomings" are shortcomings of the mind, not the?soul.

We walk through life carrying labels, “not good enough,” “too afraid,” “too broken,” “not successful enough,” “too different,” as if our worth is written in stone by the hand of our mistakes.

But what if these shortcomings are only shadows cast by the mind, not the soul? The mind is a storyteller, weaving tales of limitation, while the soul remains boundless, waiting patiently for us to listen.

Picture the sky after a storm, how the clouds clear to reveal the infinite blue. That’s the soul. It holds no record of failure, no checklist of inadequacies. It simply exists, free and vast, knowing nothing of the boxes we cram ourselves into.

But the mind?

The mind likes to build walls, marking where it thinks we end.

“You can’t go there,” it whispers. “That’s not for someone like you.”

And we believe it, don’t we?

We believe in the stories of lack so deeply that we shrink, forgetting the sky inside us.

But what happens when we step away from those walls? When we dare to act from the soul instead of the mind?

Fear might still knock on the door, but it no longer controls the house. The soul doesn’t ask if you’re ready, worthy, or capable, it only asks that you try. And in trying, the so-called shortcomings begin to dissolve, like shadows disappearing in the light of dawn.

So, is it truly that we are “not enough,” or is it that we’ve been looking through the wrong lens? What if every “failure” is just a reminder to return to that unchanging, limitless self within?

The soul knows no fear, no doubt, no barriers. It whispers truths the mind cannot comprehend: “You are already whole. You are already free.”

Can you hear it? Can you trust it?

The sky doesn’t need permission to be vast. Neither do you.

Good insight Manish... Our mind conjures the worst case scenario and projects it as fear. This is the way for it to keep us safe and protected. Only when we become aware of our TRUE nature or SELF, we can be liberated from these shortcomings.
