Alberta Construction Association New Talent Grant Program – Wage subsidies of 50% (maximum subsidy $5,000) are available to hire current post-secondary students and recent grads (up to 6 months) for temporary work experience placements at least 3 weeks in length which can take place at any time during the year. Placements can be in any area relevant to the construction industry, including: engineers, technologists, accounting and finance, human resources, IT, logistics, procurement, safety, marketing, etc.

Sales Mindset

People will tell you...Businesses don't close big deals on Friday's.

Follow up nine times.

You don't need a sales process, you need sales skills.

No one will start something new in December.

It's all BS.

We close our biggest deals on Fridays.

Make sure you have calendar availability on Fridays.

We follow up and build a relationship with humans. It might be more than nine times but my last three six figure deals have been more than nine follow ups (and it was worth it).

Build a sales process. And systemize the shit out of it where possible.

We closed three contacts this week and two more will close before the week is out.

We can choose to believe what we've been told or we can be open to what opportunities arise.
