Your rearview mirror

Your rearview mirror

People didn’t GET a chance to know you. It would have been their privilege. They didn’t take a chance, a risk, a moment, and ask. These people were like the seasons: Spring, Summer, Fall, and of course the Winter. They came and went. But you were still you.

When the Winter arrived, you were already prepared for it. You had done the work. You had done the work on you. You were ready for the changes, the challenge, and the words.

It was no matter. You knew about you, and their words told you about them.

The rearview mirror was your friend for about 37 seconds. You used it for what it is there for: To remind you what is in your past.

At some point, you considered consideration. But you had done the work and knew THIS consideration was inconsiderate…..to you, your world, and your future.

You weren’t selfish,

You weren’t a jerk,

You didn’t even speak.

You just understood why mirrors exist: To see you, not “them.”

"They" did you a favor,

..... ..... .....

Keep moving,

Keep loving,

Keep being.

One of my most greatest challenges I have in my life is not looking in the rear view mirror. As I was led to this article this Sunday morning Michael David Chapman, His voice was, as always, crystal clear. Look forward at Me, do not look back.????

Sometimes my mind seems still. Unchallenged. I knew I would come across something of yours to make me think. Your posts always do this for me. Thank you. I believe I have said this before in a post of yours. This morning, I needed something to stimulate my brain. This is truly beautiful and in depth. You inspire and motivate me.?
