IF YOUR PSYCHOLOGIST IS HAVING SEX WITH YOU HE'S HAVING SEX WITH OTHER PATIENTS!!
Don't fool yourself! If a person is capable of boundary violations with you then you can believe they are the type to break rules, and that you are NOT the first and will NOT be the last! That is why it is vitally important to report these perpetrators!
Even though my psychologist swore up and down that I was the only patient he ever had sex with, that this was an unprecedented experience between the two of us I now no longer believe him. It was all part and parcel of his plan to make me feel like I was special, like I was the only one. It is this very need of having to feel special and loved and seen in therapy that psychologists use to bait the patient. They tell you this so that you don't report them!
Anything your psychologist is allowing with you they will allow with other patients. I know that is a bitter pill to swallow, It was very hard for me admit this as well. But I felt the stronger need to protect other innocent victims who could be harmed by his unethical behavior. This is where I feel the most strength when I stand up for myself, and also stand up for others with whom it has not happened YET! I only wish I was aware of this BEFORE. It would have radically changed my life!!!
