Hey there,
Ever wonder if you’re leaving money on the table with your current pricing strategy? Many founders don’t realize that their pricing model could be the very thing stopping them from scaling.
Here’s what I’ve seen time and again:
1. Pricing Based on Costs, Not Value
If you’re still pricing based on your costs plus a margin, you’re missing out. Ask yourself: “What’s the real value my product or service delivers?” Pricing should reflect the outcome your client gets, not just the effort you put in.
2. Ignoring Psychological Pricing
Numbers play tricks on our brains. For example, a product priced at ?9,999 feels significantly cheaper than ?10,000. Ask: “Am I using pricing psychology to my advantage?” A small shift in how you present your price can change everything.
3. One-Size-Fits-All Pricing
Do all your customers have the same needs? Probably not. Ask yourself: “Am I offering tiered pricing or packages that cater to different customer segments?” Diversify your options to increase conversions and appeal to a broader audience.
4. Discounting Too Much
Offering too many discounts can devalue your brand. Ask: “Am I relying on discounts to make sales, or is my product valuable enough on its own?” Your goal should be to charge what you’re worth—without always having to lower the price.
Revisiting your pricing strategy could be the key to unlocking more revenue and scaling faster. Want to explore how to tweak yours for better results?
