Your Path - Without a path, it’s easy to get lost in the forest.
“There are two paths of which one may choose in the walk of life; one we are born with, and the one we consciously blaze. One is naturally true, while the other is a perceptive illusion. Choose wisely at each fork in the road.” - T.F. Hodge
Not having a path or direction to follow, not having a goal to set your sights on, are all the same. You go nowhere...you are lost before you start.
How do you find your path? The right path?
First, by learning from your family, teachers, friends, and mentors. From them, you can see where you want to go as well as where you don't want to go.
Next, look inside yourself and see what you want to be, do, and see. Decide what you believe in and what you don’t. Write it all down, read it daily, and start your journey.
Will your path change over time? Yes, probably, as you learn and see more, but writing things down and committing to them will always give you direction and purpose…and that will lead to success.
Finally...you must teach others to do the same. Your children, your loved ones, and your friends. Help them be their own map makers and you will have given them the most wonderful gift of their lives and yours.
“When you find your path, you must ignore fear. You need to have the courage to risk mistakes. But once you are on that road... run, run, run, and don't stop til you've reached its end.” - José N. Harris
