Patchwork Hub wins Best Small Employer at Shaw Trust Disability Power 100?
Did you see the big news? Last week the Patchwork Hub team were delighted to be named Best Small Employer at the Shaw Trust's Disability Power 100 ??
Celebrating the 100 most influential disabled people and organisations in the UK for 2024, we are honoured to be named among such a prestigious list of disabled leaders, trailblazers and change makers. In an incredibly competitive field, the award recognised our work across organisations to break down barriers for disabled people in the workplace.
Equally exciting, our Founder and CEO, Beth Kume-Holland, was also recognised for her contribution to business, entrepreneurship and policy with recognition in the Cross-Sector Advocate category.
As we continue our drive to create a more inclusive future of work, we’d like to send a huge thank you to everyone in our community who has supported, and continues to support our journey and vision. Your encouragement fuels our mission to make the workplace a more inclusive place for all, and we look forward to building on this momentum together.
Here’s to driving change and championing disability inclusion together ??
Our Founder and CEO wins Changemaker of the Year at Foundervine Future Awards?
We are also thrilled to share that Patchwork Hub Founder and CEO Beth Kume-Holland was named 'Changemaker of the Year' at Foundervine's Future Awards this month!
According to Foundervine, "this award is a prestigious accolade that honours a founder who has made a transformative and lasting impact on their industry". The award came just days after Beth's feature in the Disability Power 100 and Patchwork Hub's Best Small Employer award.
Reflecting on the award, Beth commented:
"To have our work and vision for disabled jobseekers and inclusive employers recognised by the communities we serve means more than I can express, especially coming days after being part of Shaw Trust’s Disability Power 100 and Patchwork Hub winning an award."
Also being named in Foundervine's Future 40,? the team would like to express our heartful gratitude to Foundervine, those who voted for Beth and our wider community for supporting the journey and change Patchwork Hub is calling for.
