I am embracing the idea of romance this week. I see it as a tool for the freedom to self love. Romance isn’t just about love, it’s about showing up, being intentional, and creating space for what matters most, whether that’s your partner, your business, or yourself.

Paradoxically all of that showing up etc. is love.

This belief, that your past mistakes, financial or otherwise, don’t have to dictate your future connects deeply with the way we approach relationships and self-worth.

When my husband and I started questioning whether we even romance each other anymore, we realized that romance, much like personal growth, needs regular updating. Sticking to outdated patterns can stifle connection, much like holding onto past money mistakes can hinder financial freedom. For us, romance felt like someone stepping out of jail wearing old clothes and needing a makeover. It wasn’t about waiting for change; it was about stepping up and asking for more.

This same principle applies to money: the willingness to let go of old guilt and rewrite your story opens doors to abundance. The hidden patterns we carry, about love or money, often operate on autopilot, shaped by subconscious programming like Dr. Joe Dispenza describes. These patterns can create invisible boundaries, holding us back from truly embracing romance or financial empowerment.

As I step into 2025, my theme is embracing self-worth, an act of romance in itself. By nurturing my relationships, business, and finances, I’m not just changing myself; I’m transforming my world, one intentional choice at a time.
