Your Password Still Sucks
You are probably sick of uppity technologists lecturing you about how bad your passwords are. Thing is, you never learn. I guarantee you next year the most common passwords will be "1234" and "password," with a few "qwerty" and "football" passcodes thrown in. Maybe even a "11111." It is the same every year. PCMag's security team is on the ground at RSA right now learning about all the latest threats to our digital lives and most users get hacked because their password is something dumb. It doesn't have to be this way. Spend a few bucks for a password manager. I use LastPass, which is $12 a year and worth every dime. For extra points, turn on two-factor authentication. (This message will repeat in 12 months. Maybe sooner.)
