At one time there must've been dozens of companies making buggy whips. And I'll bet the last company around was the one that made the best buggy whip you ever saw.
How would you have liked to have been a stockholder in that company?
You invested in a business, now this business is dead. So what do you do, you sell that portfolio and invest in something with a future".
The term "buggy whip" is a symbol for something outmoded, as buggies have been replaced by cars.?It can also refer to a type of misinnovation, or innovating along an established technological arc for too long.?
You are using a Browser to read this article. It is designed to browse the same internet your parents used to look at their MySpace page. The capabilities are limited to the 1960s-designed infrastructure. You are using a Browser to read this article. That browser is a real-time example of a buggy whip.
Wb3 is the idea of a?new, decentralized internet built on?distributed ledgers controlled communally by participants (Platform Economies).
Because of the collective nature of Web3, use and access are controlled by community-run networks (Platform Economies) rather than the current, centralized model in which a handful of corporations preside over Web2.
Wi-Fi 6E is?an extension of the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) wireless standard?that allows devices to operate in the 6 GHz radio-frequency band.?Wi-Fi 6E builds on Wi-Fi 6's efficiency features, such as WPA3, Target Wake Time, and OFDMA, and extends them to the 6 GHz band.?Orthogonal frequency-division multiple access (OFDMA) is?a wireless communication technology that improves network performance by allowing multiple devices to transmit data simultaneously.?It's a variation of the orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) digital modulation scheme and is part of Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax):?Target Wake Time (TWT) ensures that end devices spend more time in standby while sending and receiving data more economically. This reduces energy consumption and increases overall efficiency within the home network.
The WEB 2 we use today is Wi-Fi 5 or IEEE 802.11ac and is the fifth generation of wireless networking standards in the IEEE 802.11 set of standards which provides high throughput in a wireless local area network (LAN) using the 5GHz band frequency.
WEB 3 requires WI-FI 6. Wi-Fi 6 is the official market name for the wireless computer network operating in the 802.11ax standard. It is also known as AX Wi-Fi or high-efficiency Wi-Fi. It is the successor of 802.11ac (Wifi 5). Wifi 6 is quite an improvement to the Wi-Fi technology in general. Its principal design is to improve wireless connectivity in highly dense environments such as malls, dense residential areas, corporate offices, buildings, etc. Released in 2019, IEEE 802.11ax uses the standard 2.4Ghz and 5GHz bands, with the 6GHz band to be introduced in Wi-Fi 6e.
