I'm not here to be famous. I'm not here to be a superstar socialite who dines with the Kardashians. I'm not here to see my name on a billboard in Times Square.
I AM here to "redefine freedom" and help entrepreneurs go from operating at 10% capacity to unlocking their true potential. The more clients I help the greater the impact I can leave in the world. Period.
So here's a couple of quick reasons why you should listen to me:

"So, what's the SECRET to Getting .. Your Next 100 Clients?"
I'm glad you asked.
But first, let's talk about why those other strategies are inherently FLAWED, SLOW and INEFFECTIVE for you and I.
After all, when we know what NOT TO DO, then we create the space to understand what TO DO, correct?
Let's delve deeper into each of these top "strategies" that everyone else falls victim to:
"What STILL Doesn't Work: Why Blogs, Podcasts and Making Videos ALL Suck"
I've decided to aggregate these mediums altogether because they all operate on the same set of false beliefs:
- "If I make a blog/YouTube channel/podcast, people will discover it even though there are literally billions of other people doing the EXACT same thing.. *yawn*"
- "The people who discover it will like it, and become faithful readers and listeners.."
- "The faithful readers and listeners will eventually become clients".
And the worst suspect of all..
- "I'll be able to accomplish all of this quickly, before I run out of cash, enthusiasm, and/or my wife or husband runs out of patience."
All of these false beliefs have damaged each and everyone one of us, and I feel as if deep down inside, most of us realize that this is happening.
If you were fortunate enough to create a blog back in 2002, and people have continued to read it ever since (i.e. Seth Godin's blog), then God bless you. You probably have a MASSIVE following.
However, if not, you're probably struggling to get more than a few hits per month to your blog, podcast, or YouTube channel.
Even if you're building a following, though, how on earth do you inspire them to become your next 100 clients?
This is indeed the question that frequently haunts entrepreneurs of all dimensions.
Just about every month, I bump into an "influencer" who has a massive following - sometimes in the millions - and STILL struggle to build a highly profitable business or even break through 6 figures/$10,000 per month in recurring revenue.
Now don't get me wrong.. that's not chump change.
But when you look at the YEARS of effort it took to create that GINORMOUS following, and the endless grind of churning out new content for that hungry audience again and again (as if it's Groundhog Day)..
..these people should be making 100X more than that, don't you think so?
But they're not. #harshreality
And the reason they're not is a huge lesson for the rest of us, so write this down:
"There is a MASSIVE difference between Building an Audience, and Building an INCOME"
Just because someone follows you on social media, or reads your blog, or watches your videos does NOT mean that person will ever consider investing a single dime in you!
Remember that.
Now look, if you're extremely passionate about doing those "busy work" activities - podcasting, blogging, etc.. then by all means, please continue to do so.
For instance, I may run a webinar here and there, because I genuinely love to share cutting edge strategies and create goodwill in the marketplace. HOWEVER, if I had depended on this alone I would not have gotten to where I am now.
If your primary goal is to get more DREAM clients or to even get your next 100 clients.. then I invite you to tread a MUCH shorter path.
I would NEVER put my business into a situation where I'm dependent on writing a blog post so my family can eat a proper meal for that month. Make sense?
Here's the bottom line:
If you enjoy creating content - blogs, videos, etc. - then go for your life. But that should NOT be our primary strategy for attracting DREAM clients.
You can spend years working on a blog that no one ever reads. We SEE this all the time.
More than anything else, I want to help you ESCAPE that trap.
Let's turn our attention to another failed strategy that just doesn't work:
"What STILL Doesn't Work: The BIG Launch Model"
Despite all the HYPE about how great launches are, let me tell you something.. they are a HECK of a lot of hard work.
And 9 times out of 10, they fail miserably.
Imagine this..
You've created a product. That took months, or maybe even years in some cases.
You've designed a "start of the art" marketing and sales system. Again, this was a VERY long iterative process. If you're not great at writing copy, it's probably not going to produce as many sales as you anticipated.
Perhaps you hired a copywriter to do the copy for you. That costs thousands (not to mention potential royalties you'll have to pay on subsequent sales).. and you STILL don't know if your launch will work.
Now you need affiliates/advocates to promote your product. You've done the grunt work. You've gotten a handful of affiliates/advocates to participate. They promise they're going to promote you to their list on launch day.
Launch day arrives..
If there is one technical glitch anywhere in your sales process.. you're DEAD.
If the copy you worked so hard to write doesn't convert up to your affiliates/advocate's standards.. you're DEAD.
If some BIG fish competitor comes along and decides to launch something on the exact same day.. you're DEAD. Why? because your affiliates/advocates will voluntarily jump ship and promote him/her instead.
If an affiliate/advocate mis-represented or mis-sold your product in any way, then even if his/her people buy from you, they will refund.. and you're DEAD.
There are a MILLION ways for a launch to go wrong.. and only one or two ways for it to go right.
But what's the biggest elephant in the room:
..A launch is a glorified event.
It's a one-time hit (just think back to Lindsay Lohan's tracks). You do the launch. If it's successful, you make some money. If not, you don't.. and end up realizing you wasted your most valuable asset that you can never get back - your TIME.. but what happens after? You're worn out, overwhelmed and overworked and have to jump back on the hamster wheel all over again..
Listen. I'm speaking from my own experience and my client's experiences (prior to working with me, of course).
Once my fellow clients had the courage to make the switch from launches to the system I'm about to share with you, here's what happened:
"Closed my 1st one last week. $29,500 deal :-) Couldn't have done it without your help." - Brendan M.
"Went from $17k/month to more than $200k/month in a little over a year." - Mark K.
"Hung helped me go from stand still to 60,000 euros per month in 3 months. Incredible." - Lee C.
Now, that is predictable, repeatable and scalable income, and that's exactly what I want for you.

Okay, one last strategy I want to tear down before I show you what DOES work.
Let's talk about the myth of "low-pricing" (i.e. trying to become the "Walmart" of services).
"What STILL Doesn't Work: Low-Pricing"
If you're like 99% of the hundreds (personally) and thousands (impersonally) of client services-based business owners I've spoken to in the past 7 years, then you are massively under-charging for your best work.
Here's a million dollar question for you:
How did you set your price?
Did you look at what other people are charging and figure you should charge a little more, or perhaps a little less?
Did you pull a number out of a hat?
Did you see that some other guy or gal is charging X, so you decided to match them by charging X?
Here's a "counter-intuitive" yet breakthrough idea:
What If You Charged a Price That Reflects the Value That You Deliver?
Here's what I mean.
Let's say you're a "business turnaround specialist".
What's it worth to help companies stop bleeding money or losing top talent to their competitors?
Think about it..
When your business is thriving, you feel unstoppable, your team look up to you and your clients are proud to do business with you.
If feels remarkable.
On the flip side, when your business is barely surviving, it creates a DOMINO effect on everything in your life, doesn't it? From your health, to your finances and subsequently - your emotional bank account.
So here's the "key question":
If the outcome you provide is to SAVE a company from failing, what's it worth to have that outcome?
It's PRICELESS.
So if that's true.. then why are you charging $125/hr or even $300/hr? Why are you selling an e-book or video course for $297, $497 or even $1k?
Is it because that's what you witnessed other people doing?
Understand this:
"If You Solve a Major Life OR Business Challenge, You Should Be Earning $10K or More for Every Client Who Comes in the Door!"
If you're not, you're stealing from yourself. You're not charging what you're really worth, are you?
And here's the best thing about commanding a premium price..
When you do, your client results will SKYROCKET.
Think about this:
- "When you command a premium price - again, I'm talking $10k or more - your clients show up committed. They're invested a lot to work with you, so they are MUCH more likely to show up, do the work, and achieve an amazing outcome."
- "You decide to work with fewer clients and still hit your income goals. Most of my clients who have created a million dollar plus business are doing it with fewer than 20 clients. Think about that!"
- Because you're working with fewer clients, but making more money, you can truly provide a transformation, VIP experience for every client.. (rather than struggling to provide support to lots of people who didn't invest much to be there and aren't nearly as committed).
Long story short?
Commanding premium prices is your golden ticket to integrating the BIG 3: Mindset, Strategy and Support Network.
Every client who had the courage to raise their prices has generated 10X more revenue without having to work 10X harder, and achieved greater results for their clients.
It's a WIN for all parties involved.
But in order to do this successfully, you need a methodology for enrolling clients at the premium prices we're talking about..
..and you need to do it without all of those "hopeful" strategies that don't work.
So, how do we do that. Hung?
"The 5-Step Game Plan That Allows You to Get Your Next 100 Clients.. Without Sacrificing Your Freedom".
When I show you this, you're going to be shocked.
Here's the process that will inspire you to get your next 100 clients:
- Send Breakthrough LinkedIn Connection Request
- LinkedIn Engagement and Follow up.
- Initial Interest Call.
- Send Overview
- BIG Meeting (i.e. One Call Close).
That's it.
That's all we need to focus on.
Let me break it down for you.
Step 1: Send Breakthrough LinkedIn Connection Request.
There's no doubt about it. After, Microsoft acquired LinkedIn for $26 Billion back in 2016. They've been pushing the LinkedIn platform HARD to re-energize engagement for those of us in B2B.
Even if you're a business coach..
Even if you feel that your dream clients "aren't on LinkedIn"..
I can promise you that either they or a strategic partner (who has access to your dream clients) is. Period.
There are "620 million+ registered members" on LinkedIn's platform and more than 50% of B2B buyers use LinkedIn when making purchasing decisions, not viral/famous cats, if you know what I mean.. Facebook.. *cough cough*
In addition to that, LinkedIn's advanced boolean search in LinkedIn Sales Navigator makes it insanely great for targeting high end clients, hard to reach decision makers and dream accounts.
If you want to target the Executive Assistant to the VP Sales at GE Aviation, in United States, LinkedIn will help you do that.
Your potential clients read your personalized connection request (i.e. See Larry Kim's post on how to write a connection request that gets accepted almost every time) and proceed to accept. Those who accept, are now part of your network, your world and your opportunity to expand each other's social capital.
Then you proceed to..
Step 2: LinkedIn Engagement and Follow up.
This is where you DO NOT spam your new connection with an essay about how great you are. It's an opportunity to engage ad talk as if you're at a REAL business networking event. And like I tell many other entrepreneurs, "if you're not willing to say something to someone offline, then don't bother saying it online".
Begin by thanking them for accepting your connection request and include a "P.S. line" (i.e. P.S. what exciting projects are you working on right now? Happy to help.).
The key is to continually ask smart, open-ended questions that transform curiosity into connection and as a result, create conversations that matter.
When you do this right, and treat people with respect, a high percentage of your new connections will check out your LinkedIn profile and follow up to ask you "What exactly do you do, Hung?" THEN BINGO - you've just earned the permission to talk about how you can best help them moving forward.
Step 3: Initial Interest Call (6-10 mins)
During the first initial interest call (~6-10 mins), you're going to focus on one thing and one thing only - helping the prospective client identify a problem and how you have an idea or two as to how you can help them potentially alleviate their situation.
When executed correctly, your prospective client will say "I never thought of it like that".. which means in a short period of time (no more than 10 minutes) you were able to inspire a prospective client to see their problem through a different lens and when you redefine their problem better than they can... then they will automatically assume that you have THE solution they've been craving for all along. Instant authority has now been established.
At the end, you ask the simple question: "How would you like to proceed, John/Jill?".
And 9 times out of 10, he/she will respond with "Sounds good. Send me something".
Which creates a seamless transition to the next step..
Step 4: Send Overview.
Depending on your industry, your "weapon of choice" may be a pitch deck/slide deck/PDF report/one-pager, etc.. I'll leave it up to you to discover which medium is best for inspiring your prospective client to say "WOW".
I don't have the space here to get into all the nuances of how to create a winning overview, but let me say this - just like the initial interest call, it should redefine their problem in a way that automatically inspires them to assume that you are the right person at the right time. Preferably an "overview" of what you and the prospective client spoke about during the initial interest call - no more, no less.
The overview also gives you the chance to have the prospective client share your work with other decision makers and potential referrals and may also serve as a template for the same or similar prospective clients you engage with in the near future.
Hence, when you "send" through the overview via LinkedIn/email, it should include a soft call-to-action (e.g. "if you agree that it is worth talking about and the fit may be there let's have a follow up call. Do mornings or afternoons work best for you? Alternatively, you can book a time via my calendar: <insert online scheduler link> Talk soon.").
Step 5: BIG Meeting (18 mins - 25 mins) - a.k.a "the One Call Close".
This is the formal appointment whereby you are deciding whether all parties involved would be a right fit in moving forward. And like Tony Robbins says "the quality of our questions determine the quality of our lives".
First, we have to immediately "Set the Frame" for the call as follows:
"Hi [Name], I'm extremely excited that we both could set aside 18 mins to talk today about the future of [Company] and whether we are a good fit in moving forward towards a YES. Here's what I know today [recite a quick summary of recent email interactions and overview you sent through].. do you still feel the same about that?"
Second, we need to ask strategic questions in the following sequence:
- [Name], if we were to have this conversation in 12 months time , what would have to happen in order for you to be happy with our results?
- What 'one' obstacle has prevented you from achieving [desired result]?
- How long have you operated with this not working for you?
- If you didn't make a change within the next 6 months, how would that impact [Company Name] across all departments?
- Is it possible for you to change this on your own?
- Tell me in 1 minute or less, EXACTLY how you're going to turn [Company Name] around.
- What are you willing to do to make it happen?
- So, how SOON are you looking to achieve [desired result]?
- Here's how I can best help you, right now: [lay out game plan..]
- I'd love to charge you $1 Million.. However, the investment is only $50k (etc..) [PAUSE]. Does that sound fair, [Name]?
- Great, how would you like to proceed?
So once again, here's the process that will inspire you to get your next 100 clients:
- Send Breakthrough LinkedIn Connection Request
- LinkedIn Engagement and Follow up.
- Initial Interest Call.
- Send Overview
- BIG Meeting (i.e. One Call Close).
As you can see, this system is extremely simple, but it's the foundation of my company and B2B clients who are tired of all the current marketing hype and noise that's being preached throughout the marketplace.
