It's important to note that not all the happenings we share will be open to the public, but we include them because they're important to our clients, to us and therefore, worth knowing about and sharing with you! Some things on our calendar may also be invitation-only or internal events. But for any happenings that are open to the public, free, or require tickets/registration, we'll be sure to note that in the event descriptions.

NOVEMBER 7: GREENS AT IRVINGTON MEWS II & PARK HEIGHTS PLACE GROUNDBREAKING?
Enterprise Community Development will host a dual groundbreaking event on November 7, 2024, marking the beginning of construction and renovation of two affordable housing communities in Baltimore, Greens at Irvington Mews II and Park Heights Place. These developments will create and preserve affordable, high-quality housing for seniors and formerly homeless veterans, with a commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency.
NOVEMBER 9: INNER HARBOR ICE RINK GRAND OPENING?
The Inner Harbor Ice Rink will return to the top of the Amphitheater between the two Harborplace pavilions at Baltimore’s Inner Harbor beginning November 9, 2024, at 12 p.m. with an opening celebration during which the first 50 people to arrive will skate free. Attendees on opening day can enjoy a live DJ, hot cocoa and coffee from Matriarch Coffee and pastries from Crust by Mack while supplies last.?Get your tickets here!?
NOVEMBER 11: VETERANS DAY?
The Baltimore Station is a residential treatment program supporting veterans experiencing homelessness and addiction, providing them with the tools and resources to transform their lives. Through comprehensive therapeutic services and community involvement, the organization helps veterans achieve self-sufficiency and reintegrate into society. NOVEMBER 16: MR. TRASH WHEEL DUMPSTER DIVE?
Waterfront Partnership’s Healthy Harbor Initiative, is once again partnering with the Baltimore Community ToolBank to gather volunteers and analyze the contents of one of Baltimore’s beloved Trash Wheels. Attendees will help fill a giant metal rockfish sculpture with plastic bottles and other debris to symbolize the harmful effects of plastic on local waterways. Maryland Senate President Bill Ferguson will attend the event, offering his support for the cause and urging the public to act.?Register here.
NOVEMBER 20: HOTEL REVIVAL’S “THE REMEDY” EVENT SERIES: THE SHARED HUMAN EXPERIENCE ACROSS CULTURE?
This session of “The Remedy” wellness workshop series will explore how different cultures interpret and experience the universal aspects of being human. Through storytelling, group discussions and reflection, participants will engage with diverse cultural perspectives and discover the common threads that tie us together – encouraging a deeper sense of global unity and understanding.?“The Remedy” events are free and open to the public. NOVEMBER 21: NATIONAL AQUARIUM VOYAGES CHAPTER 6 WITH DAN DEACON?(SOLD OUT)
The sixth installation of Voyages is the National Aquarium's adults-only event series where conservation, science, and art converge in a completely original experience. On November 21, 2024, guests will be immersed in a sonic journey led by Baltimore-based recording artist, composer and performer Dan Deacon. This event will feature a groundbreaking musical composition inspired by ecosystem feedback loops, composed by Deacon and performed by a collective of Baltimore musicians, creating a unique soundscape to echo throughout the Aquarium's galleries.?(Tickets for Voyages: Chapter 6 are sold out, but they will have another Voyages event in July 2025! NOVEMBER 29 – DECEMBER 1: KENNEDY KRIEGER’S 35TH ANNUAL FESTIVAL OF TREES?
Entering its 35th year, Festival of Trees is a holiday celebration that benefits the patients, students and programs at Kennedy Krieger and kicks off the most wonderful time of the year for families throughout the region. Festival of Trees raises much-needed funds to provide services to the more than 27,000 patients and students who turn to Kennedy Krieger each year. Kicking off in 1990, the event is a time to celebrate the magic of Kennedy Krieger’s services and marvel at the community-decorated trees, wreaths and gingerbread houses that raise funds for a great cause. DECEMBER 1-31: LORD BALTIMORE HOTEL’S COUTURE TREE COMPETITION & DISPLAY?
The historic and award-winning Lord Baltimore Hotel’s Couture Tree Competition returns for the upcoming holiday season. The trees will be on public display starting Monday, December 1 and throughout December 2024.?Stop by and enjoy this year's 2024 display of Couture Trees.
DECEMBER 5: HOTEL REVIVAL’S MONUMENT LIGHTING VIEWING PARTY?
Hotel Revival Baltimore is inviting guests to ring in the holiday season with a monument lighting viewing party at its rooftop restaurant Topside. An all-inclusive party with the best view in Baltimore for a decades-old tradition will include lite fare, libations, a live holiday jazz ensemble and a panoramic view of the annual lighting of Baltimore’s Washington Monument and fireworks. Executive Chef Amy Hessel and Topside bar staff are available to preview food and drinks. Media are also invited to capture footage of the lighting from inside Topside during the event. DECEMBER 7-8: BALTIMORE’S MOST FESTIVE WEEKEND?
Baltimore’s Most Festive Weekend of the year is set to return on Dec. 7-8. The entire waterfront including Fells Point, Harbor Point, Harbor East and Inner Harbor, will be adorned with decorations, overflowing with festivals, art, and holiday wonder, including the Holiday Skate at the Ice Rink, Fells Point’s Old Tyme Christmas, Parade of Lighted Boats, and The Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore’s Holiday Maker’s Market at the Harborplace Light St. Pavilion featuring 60+ homegrown brands, vintage, and live music.?
DECEMBER 20: HOTEL REVIVAL’S WINTER WELLNESS MIXER?
For this session of “The Remedy” wellness workshop series, the hotel invites guests to enjoy an evening of connection. No programming, just pure conversation and camaraderie during the holiday season. The Winter Wellness Mixer is a relaxed gathering where guests can meet new people, reconnect with friends and enjoy the warmth of community in a cozy, festive setting. KENNEDY KRIEGER DISTRIBUTES FREE GUN LOCKS?
As gun violence remains the number one cause of death for children in the U.S., Kennedy Krieger Institute has launched a campaign to help families and communities protect children through safe gun storage practices. Kennedy Krieger is now distributing free gun locks to patient families, staff, and community members from their Broadway campus. The Institute received a grant from the Governor’s Office of Crime Prevention and Policy to purchase 800 locks and distribute them. Patients, families and others who want a free gun lock can request one from the security desks at the Institute’s medical buildings at 707, 716, and 801 N. Broadway, 1741 Ashland Ave., and at Kennedy Krieger School’s Fairmount Campus, 1750 E. Fairmount Ave. Learn more here.
THROUGH DEC. 22: BALTIMORE FARMERS’ MARKET SEASON 47?
The Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts (BOPA), presents the 47 Season of the Baltimore Farmers’ Market. The Market opens at 7:00 a.m. — rain or shine — underneath the Jones Falls Expressway (JFX) at Holliday and Saratoga Streets and will be open every Sunday through December 22, 2024. This year, the Market will debut Quiet Shopping Hours from 7:00–9:30 a.m. to offer a more sensory-friendly environment for people who prefer a calmer shopping experience. Patrons who drive to the Market can take advantage of free parking at the Mary Catherine Bunting Garage. The garage is located at 330 Guilford Avenue and accessible from Pleasant Street. THROUGH JAN. 20, 2025: INNER HARBOR ICE RINK?
Take in the magical views of the harbor and create wintertime memories in the heart of downtown Baltimore at the Inner Harbor Ice Rink. Sponsored by the Pearlstone Family Fund and the Joseph & Harvey Meyerhoff Family Charitable Funds, the rink will return to the top of the Amphitheater between the two Harborplace pavilions at Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. The rink will remain open until January 20, 2025. HARBOR POINT WINTER FESTIVAL?
The Harbor Point Winter Festival set to return in January 2025, will feature award-winning sculptors as they use chainsaws and chisels to create pieces of art. Attendees will enjoy the newest waterfront neighborhood as it transforms into a winter wonderland fit for the family, with ice sculptures, cultural eats, hot cocoa, hot toddies and more.?Stay tuned for more information!
FEBRUARY 21—23: AMERICAN CRAFT MADE MARKETPLACE?
American Craft Council’s (ACC) flagship event, American Craft Made Baltimore Marketplace,?returns to the Baltimore Convention Center. The three-day, immersive event allows guests to celebrate all things handmade, by showcasing a juried selection of hundreds of artists from across the country and highlighting the work of local craft organizations, schools, and partners.?
