Be Your Most Authentic Self
We all will be tried, prodded, and tested throughout our lives, careers, and relationships.
The pressure will try to convince you to do certain things that won’t feel right to you, become another person, or go against what you feel is right.
It’s always our job to decide how to go about that, and what to do, but at the end of the day, the only thing we truly have is ourselves.
We must be principled for self and others.
Pick ourselves up when we are kicked down.
And stay true to our core, while also following a commitment to moral codes.
These things aren’t black and white, nor written down in full anywhere, but if you follow your inner compass, and listen to its guidance, you will know.
Time will continue to pass by, and one day so shall we, so do our actions make a complete difference? Maybe not.
But what example will others follow at some point?
A question to ponder when making decisions of utmost importance.
And remember: none of us are perfect, and maybe never will be, but the effort of doing what you can while overcoming one imperfection at a time, the process, is what makes us perfect.
Not the other way around.
