The worst part?

You aren’t even aware about it.

Picture this:

  • You're several pounds overweight.
  • You have regular brain fog and it’s harder to focus than it used to.
  • You get lousy sleep.
  • You’re always stressed about work.
  • You're regularly sick.

It becomes "normal."

Signs of a deteriorating marriage relationship:

  • Give your electronic device more attention than your spouse.
  • Don’t give your spouse your full attention when they talk to you.
  • Your arguments are full of “You Never… or You Always…” statements.
  • You don’t repair regrettable behavior.


Steps to take to fix these things:

  • Take a distraction/device free walk around the block holding hands.
  • Ask your spouse about their favorite part of the day and really listen to the answer. ***Master Tip*** ask a follow up question to get a genuine conversation going.
  • Take a time out when you are having blame and shame arguments. Come back when you are in control of yourself.
  • Take responsibility for your role in your marriage and apologize for your actions/words
  • Flirt with your spouse throughout the day via text, voice, video, or whatever works best for you.


This is ONLY a starting point.
