Is Your Local AIA Helping You Prepare For Your Architect Exam?!??
Not All AIA’s Are The Same
The Portland Oregon Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) is pretty awesome! In the eight years I have lived in Portland, they have regularly offered lectures about the Architecture Registration Exam (ARE).
Every year they kick off their lecture series with a big party and free pizza. A typical ARE Lecture is usually someone discussing something about a specific division or aspect of the ARE. Lecturers are either people who have completed the licensing process or an engineer or construction lawyer to discuss their specialty.
On top of that the AIA has always had a pretty extensive library of ARE study materials, which are available to borrow.
But not all AIA chapters acknowledge architectural licensing, and it’s hard to figure out which AIA’s are active with providing resources to ARE Candidates.
I need your help.
I could like to compile a master list of all the AIA chapters that have actively been helping Candidates prepare for the ARE and even the ones that arent.
Could you you click the link below and share with me how helpful your local AIA Chapter has been to you while you prepare to take the Architecture Registration Exam.
