Your LinkedIn company page can't do it alone!

Your LinkedIn company page can't do it alone!

You need the help of your people.

Companies put a lot of time, effort and money into maintaining their LinkedIn company pages, and creating content to post there.

Often, they pay to promote that content to a targeted audience on LinkedIn. They're measuring things such as likes and views, and hoping for leads.

There's a weak link in the chain however, which is a huge limiting factor.

Most people do NOT come to LinkedIn to hear from companies.

They come to LinkedIn for the people. To learn from others, build relationships and share information.

It's social media, right?

Yes, LinkedIn is a great place to help customers discover you, and garner the attention of people who are relevant to your business, but you can't do it all from your company page (sorry marketers).

You need to enlist your people to give you a hand.

  • Posts published by people reach over 500% more readers than posts published by company pages
  • 8x more readers engage with personal posts than with company page posts
  • Your team of people most likely have a much larger combined following than your company page - don't believe me? Go check.

So what? I hear you ask....

Encourage and empower (train) your people to be the best brand advocates possible on LinkedIn and you'll get way more awareness, more website traffic and more deals into the top of your funnel.

Your employees will also be more engaged, they'll build stronger personal brands and better business relationships with your customers.

People buy from people.

Ultimately, your business social media strategy should incorporate your company page and the profiles of your people, who are already on LinkedIn, already have existing networks, and are already posting, sharing and connecting - but possibly in ways which are NOT benefitting your business.

Change that and align your business and your people and watch the magic happen.
