As we approach the end of 2023 and anticipate the dawn of a new year, there are many reasons to embrace optimism and hope. This time of year invites us to engage in introspection, contemplate our aspirations, and chart a course for personal and professional growth. A lot is going on in the world that can be distracting and overwhelming, but it is crucial to direct our attention towards self-investment, self-care, and the nurturing of our individual life cycles, and this can be done by creating a thoughtful plan of action.
This process starts by creating a life cycle:
1. Source of Income (Business)
Your livelihood is the bedrock upon which you build your life, and your business serves as the cornerstone of this foundation. Whether you're an entrepreneur, a professional, or a dedicated employee, ensuring the sustainability and growth of your income source is crucial. This isn't just about financial success; it's about the security and stability you can provide for yourself and your family.
I have been busy this year forging new business relationships and partnerships. In September, I had the privilege of participating in The 32nd Economic Forum in Karpacz, Poland. It turned out to be a highly rewarding experience for me. This event provided me with a valuable platform to engage with, connect to, network among, and gain insights from accomplished individuals from diverse backgrounds, all to my own betterment.??
As we head into 2024, try to allocate approximately 60% of your focus and efforts to this area. This ensures you're continually exploring growth opportunities, refining your skills, and adapting to changes in your industry. A thriving income source not only covers your basic needs but also allows you to invest in your future, from education and personal development to building a safety net for unforeseen challenges.
2. Health is Wealth
Without good health, all the wealth in the world becomes meaningless. Physical and mental health are intimately connected; one can't flourish without the other. Therefore, commit an impressive 90% of your attention to your health. Your health is not an expense but an investment, as it impacts your ability to perform at your best in all other areas of your life.
For me, investing in my health means making time for regular physical activity and maintaining healthy eating habits. However, taking care of your health isn't just about the physical aspect. Mental health matters just as much, which is why I always try to set aside some quiet moments each day for reflection, meditation, or reading. I've personally found that practicing mindfulness and self-compassion has had a positive impact on my overall well-being.
Try to develop a holistic approach to health, including regular exercise, a balanced diet, adequate sleep, and mental wellness practices like meditation or mindfulness. These practices strengthen your physical resilience and enhance your mental clarity, making you more resilient in the face of life's challenges.
3. Family
Achieving a harmonious balance between your personal and professional life is essential for your overall well-being. Your family, often at the center of your support system, deserves special consideration. Try to devote approximately 70% of your energy to maintaining and nurturing your relationships with loved ones.

Family is everything to me. My beloved wife, my love forever, Svetlana. When I, a young man from India, came to Odessa many years ago to study Computer Engineering, I had the privilege of meeting Svetlana, and my life changed forever. Right from the very beginning, Svetlana has been my unwavering source of support, always believing in my dreams and aspirations. Everything I have achieved and will achieve is thanks to her. Spending time with her nourishes and motivates me.

Quality time, open communication, and shared experiences are crucial in nurturing these bonds. By investing in your family relationships, you cultivate a strong and dependable support network that can provide emotional sustenance during tough times and share in your joy during the good ones.
4. Society
Beyond your immediate circle, you are an integral part of a broader society with its own set of expectations and responsibilities. Consider dedicating 60% of your focus to giving back and making a positive impact on your community and the world at large. This can involve volunteering your time and skills, supporting local charitable causes, or mentoring others in your field.
Fulfilling your societal obligations not only enriches the lives of those you touch but also brings a sense of purpose and fulfilment to your own life. It reinforces the interconnectedness of all individuals and contributes to the betterment of society as a whole.
I hold several causes close to my heart. In recent years, Ukraine has become particularly meaningful to me. That's why my mentor and business partner, Natalia Serebiannikova, and I initiated a new project aimed at helping the Ukrainian people displaced by the Russian invasion find employment. The project's goal is to provide guidance and support to those in need, offering direction and advice. It warms my heart to see how this project has assisted many individuals in securing employment.
6. Friends
While friends may not be as central to your life as some of the other aspects mentioned, they are undeniably important. Friends offer companionship and emotional support and often serve as a source of inspiration.?
It is always great to meet and catch up with old friends. At the 32nd Economic Forum, I had the pleasure of reuniting with my friend John Grogan, a former Member of Parliament in the UK House of Commons, while en route to the European Economic Forum in Karpacz. Reuniting with old friends and catching up is a wonderful part of life.?
Remember that a fulfilling social life can improve your overall well-being. Friends can provide a support system outside of your family, offer different perspectives, and add joy and laughter to your life. Though smaller in proportion, these connections contribute significantly to your sense of belonging and happiness.
Final thoughts
As we stand at the threshold of a new year, the prospect of 2024 beckons us with hope and opportunity. The blueprint for our life cycle growth in the coming year is multifaceted, comprising various aspects of our lives. It is a testament to the importance of balance and holistic development, reflecting how I approach life.
Try envisioning your life as a continuous cycle, with each component interlinked and influencing the others. You can create a balanced and fulfilling life by nurturing these aspects of your life. The end of the year serves as an ideal time to evaluate your progress and adjust your priorities, ensuring that you continue to grow, evolve, and remain optimistic about the future.
Keep in mind that investing in yourself is one of the most valuable investments you can make. Your personal and professional growth is in your hands. By focusing on your income source, health, family, societal contributions, and friendships, you can build a stronger and more satisfying life while positively impacting the world around you.
