Your Lack of Follow Through...is why employees don't care
We all know it...employees usually think that employee surveys are a joke. If you have been working for at least a few decades like me (feeling old right about now lol) you have had enough life/work experience to know how the majority of people feel about surveys.
Employees think surveys are worth because:
If you don't follow through with an action plan & communicate it to your employees, your survey is worthless at best.

We can't keep doing the same things over and over again expecting a different result, because as we know that is the definition of insanity. Do you want your employee surveys to mean something and not be a waste of time?

Don't lose the trust of your employees, because you lack follow through. If you want to maintain a healthy culture. You have to practice what you preach. You have to FOLLOW THROUGH, because if you don't they will follow through with finding a company that cares more and shows them.

I found this to be so incredibly accurate to how and why employees feel this way, not only should employees feel free to air out their concerns but feel safe doing so and not fearing retaliation from an upset manager, director, etc. That's another huge failure when companies conduct "anonymous" surveys but use internal resources that sometimes include less-than-reputable and respectable HR teams is backlash and commentary regarding an employees valid concerns being deemed as an "attack" but then said employee continues to do zero follow through!! AAAGH! Regardless, I could feel the frustration in this article regarding this issue lol!
