Your knowledge is as solid as your Lab Environment!

Your knowledge is as solid as your Lab Environment!

Your knowledge is as solid as your Lab Environment!

This saying below really got stuck in my head since the first time I heard it.

"Without laboratories, men of science are soldiers without arms!" ~ Louis Pasteur

For me, I think this is absolutely true. I think it's not even negotiable! Basically, labbing is the way you consolidate your knowledge. But anyway, I'm not here to prove this to you. That's not the scope of this post.

I'm just here today to talk about how to lab?! How to test things out! How to make your knowledge as solid as rock! Regarding this, first thing should come to your mind is Computing Power! How do I get it?!! How do I get a beefy server sitting next to me just to lab some stuff up?!! How can I even afford this?!

Have you ever thought about putting your labs in the Cloud?!! I mean Cloud Computing been already out there for a while actually, and we all know about it! But why not using it personally?!!

Well, just as an example of what you can accomplish integrating the Cloud into your Lab Environment. This awesome guy below, shows you how to run GNS3 Server in the Cloud! Here he's using Microsoft Azure, but you can pick your own cloud provider.

Again, the thing I wanna stress out here! With the Cloud integrated into your Lab Environment, you can think of whatever complicated lab scenarios you can imagine! This is simply a game-changer for a lot of us! And, guess what, it's almost free! So, what are you waiting for ?!! Whenever you're ready to lab up, just spin up your virtual machine in the cloud! As simple as that!

For any one who's new to GNS3 or seeing this as kinda involved! You can check David Bombal YouTube channel below, for awesome GNS3 tutorials!
