Your knees are the heroes of your running.
Running is as natural as it gets, but sometimes knee pain can crash the party! Here’s how to keep your knees happy and stay on track:
Start easy: Don’t go from zero to marathon! If you’ve got some extra weight, kick things off with strength exercises to build those leg muscles.
Baby steps: Mix running with walking—try 800m of running, 200m of walking. Slow and steady wins the race!
Posture power: Stand tall, puff out that chest, and keep your head up! Better posture equals better breathing equals feeling like a running superhero.
Land soft: No stomping! Land your feet lightly under you, not miles ahead.
Mix it up: Throw in some short sprints with your easy runs to keep things fun!
And if your knees start complaining, take a break, start light again, and rock those knee pads for extra support!
