What is your role at LendingCrowd?

I am one of the first points of contact for our esteemed brokers on the panel. I focus on onboarding new introducers and managing relationships with existing ones. From communicating information between brokers to the members of our credit and underwriting team, to working on deal completion, I aim to provide exceptional service from submission to drawdown.

Can you sum up a typical day at work?

In the morning I’m usually responding to emails that have come in from the night before and?placing calls to brokers with urgent requests. I usually aim to fit in training sessions before noon for any of my brokerages who would like a refresher on our product and processes. Towards the afternoon, my focus usually shifts?towards offers with loan documentation issued, to help our brokers close off their deals before COB.

What do you like most about working here?

Having spent two years at LendingCrowd, seeing how the business changes year over year is exceptional. To see the development this far into my journey makes me excited to see the change in another two years’?time.

What keeps you busy outside work?

I have a one-year-old Labrador named Dubh. He is being forced (quite happily) to climb Munros with me. I spend most of my free time in pursuit of this, or watching Scotland consistently break my heart in the Six Nations.

New faces at LendingCrowd

Welcome to our newest team member Ollie Knott, who joins our broker account management team. Ollie says:?“I’m very excited to be a part of LendingCrowd. This is a new industry?for me and I'm enjoying speaking to brokers and understanding how we can improve the quality of applications we receive. I’m looking forward to working with the rest of the team and managing my own set of accounts, contributing to the continuing success of the organisation!

“I moved to Edinburgh in January so I’m still discovering the many things the city?has to offer. I enjoy going to the gym and playing tennis in my spare time.”
