Your Inner Wisdom.
When’s the last time you tuned into your own internal wisdom?
You have the answers already for any problem you have. The thing is we’re part of a culture that has sped up, superficially connected more, bombarded with more, fear, so many distractions, not-enoughness.?
The bottom line is we let ourselves be constantly taken away from ourselves. This is something just about all my clients struggle with.
They search outside themselves for the answers that are right there within them. It’s not always easy in this culture to be internally focused, but it’s where the big reward is.
What if you knew you could always tune in to receive your own answers?
Here are some simple things you can do today:
1. Make rules about your electronic usage. Turn ‘em on, then turn ‘em off. It’s a boundary issue to have your phone, laptop, TV on all the time. I’m not talking about going all Laura Ingalls Wilder here, but to listen within, you’ll need to be unplugged for some part of your day.

2. Get outside. Hug a tree. Smell the pine. Breathe the fall air. When I’m spinning. distracted or overwhelmed, I find that if I step outside my door, everything automatically shifts. I get perspective. My mind quiets. I can actually hear my inner wisdom.
3. Tend to your clutter. Clutter is a distraction. It’s unused, unloved, and low-vibrating. It creates stagnant energy in your space and mind. Think how you feel when you walk into a very open, Zenlike space like a yoga studio. I feel immediately calm. Clean, clear, decluttered = calm. Simple tip here–if you don’t love it, lose it. Give one thing away today.?
4. Instead of “fighting” traffic, be with it. Be intentional with your time in the car. Listen to music or podcasts that support you and lift you into a higher vibration. Separate from your workday, so you’re not bringing your day with you. Turn off the radio for a moment and let yourself be in silence. Breathe. In for 5, hold for 5, exhale for 5.
Make a decision right now to tune in. Take 5 minutes. What lights you up? Listen to a youtube meditation. Dance wildly. Take the dog for a walk with no phone. Do some art. Decide now to take 5 minutes for you and see what you discover.?
The more you go within, the more you will find.

2 年Take the Dog for a Walk with NO PHONE?? No but seriously. This is one habit I've changed in the last year - never never never take the phone for a walk unless I'm really wanting to hear some music. I had a client last year that WROTE A BOOK by dictating into her phone while walking her dog every night. She's what we call a "SuperProducer." And the thing is, between you and me, IMHO, it wasn't that great a book because it read like something someone dictated while walking a dog. Thanks for these amazing 4 Simple Shifts Tandy - I'm going to try the other 3. Also, just a quick note, I think you accidentally repeated the first part of the newsletter twice - and you can do a quick edit on that and it will be short sweet and PERFECT!!

2 年"Tend to your clutter." Yes!! I started yesterday -- still much to tend to! Thank you for encouraging us to be with ourselves! It wounds like you are asking us to be real with our own mess -- whether that mess is external or internal. Thank you, Tandy Pryor. Do you think some people are better at the internal stuff and others are better at the external?
