Your inner power!

Your inner power!

You never know how strong you are until being strong is your only choice. ~ Bob Marley

These profound words resonate like a mantra!

They remind us of our inner and sometimes hidden strength.

We all face hard times and challenges that test how tough we really are. It is in our darkest moments when true strength must come out because there is no other choice. This is when we find power inside of us that we didn't know existed.

Life has many ups and downs - times of happiness and times of sadness or struggle. But it's the really difficult periods that show us what we are truly made of. When something devastating happens, like losing a loved one, getting a terrible illness, losing a job, or any other heartbreaking situation that could break us, that's when we discover the strength living deep within.

When things get that bad, we have to be strong because giving up is not an option. Falling apart is not possible, so somehow we dig down and find the grit to keep going. In those moments, we are forced to use incredible reservoirs of inner fortitude that were previously untapped.

This strength is not something some people randomly have while others don't. It's a capability we all possess, but that often remains hidden and asleep until life absolutely requires us to wake it up. Our strength is like a muscle that gets more powerful through continuous exercise and challenge. The more obstacles we overcome, the stronger that muscle of resilience becomes.

But being strong isn't just about muscling through physically. It's also about emotional and mental toughness that allows us to endure the most trying times. It requires maintaining perspective, finding purpose, and holding onto hope even when things look darkest.

People who have survived trauma or major life crises often come out the other side with a remarkable new strength etched into their character. They have tapped an endless well of bravery and determination that empowers them to conquer any future obstacles life throws their way.

Being truly strong doesn't mean feeling invincible or fearless. Even the most heroic people still feel scared sometimes. What makes them heroic is finding the courage to face their fears directly rather than running from them. Real strength means looking at our fears and fragilities head-on, yet persisting step-by-step towards our goals regardless.

This kind of inner fortitude doesn't just help us overcome adversity, it also allows us to grow in profound ways as human beings. Every challenge that threatens to break us, yet doesn't, leaves us that much stronger, wiser, and more resilient for having endured it. We learn the values of perseverance, perspective, and never losing hope even in the most dire of circumstances.

Our strength can also inspire and uplift those around us in powerful ways. Seeing someone face difficulties with unwavering courage can motivate us to find that same reservoir of bravery within ourselves. Their example proves that no matter how dark things seem, every person has the capacity for resilience.

In today's world of constant stresses and struggles, Bob Marley's message rings absolutely true - having strength is not optional, it's a necessity for survival. His words remind us that we all have an astounding inner power, one that will be called upon eventually when we simply have no other choice but to be strong.

And even though being strong is never easy, it's what allows us to keep moving forward instead of being crushed by life's inevitable difficulties. Having that strength of spirit empowers us to face adversity head-on and emerge from it even more empowered.

So whenever you feel overwhelmed by circumstances and losing your inner grit, remember Marley's timeless wisdom. Remember that you do possess remarkable fortitude, because when the choice is either find your strength or succumb, you will rise and discover just how powerful you truly are.

When there is no option left besides being strong, that is when our most awe-inspiring strengths emerge from their hiding spot and shine through brilliantly, dazzling us with our own incredible power to persevere against all odds. Our strength is always there inside, patiently waiting for the moment we need to unleash it.

Persistence, like empathy, is a learned trait. If we have none of either we are not learning from life experiences. As you suggest here Isabelle Fortin difficulty can make or break us.
