Your Imperfections Are A Wonderful Blessing

Yes, you heard it right, your imperfections are indeed a blessing in your life.
Have you ever wondered why we always try to prove ourselves to be perfect around others?
Or why do we always push ourselves trying to be someone else, just to look good in another’s perspective?
Okay, now don’t tell me that you are not one among those who would try to be someone else to impress others. Common on!! We all have done it at some point in our lives.
There is a difference between trying to be perfect and portraying yourself to be perfect. We need to constantly remind ourselves that it’s okay not to be perfect all the freaking time.
But alas, we live in a world of non-stop comparison, where everybody tries to be at the peak of perfection level, and worry about how to appear faultless and normal. Instead, try embracing your faults as much as you flaunt your perfections.
I read a quote the other day that said “Don’t compare your life to others. There’s no comparison between the sun and the moon, they shine when it’s their time” and that hit me hard. What a meaningful quote, isn’t it?
We often end up comparing ourselves with others…but why? What exactly are we trying to prove ourselves by doing that?
Take a moment and question yourself “Is this what I’m worth of?”
There are people who are going to fall in love with your weirdness, madness and for the kid inside you, that’s never gonna die. So stop pretending to be faultless when you have someone to celebrate who you actually are. Be the real you!
We should also be aware of the fact that perfection is not the endgame in our lives as human beings; if it were, we’d surely all be disappointed. We rather celebrate our cracks and flaws, so that our experience in this life will be far more enjoyable, inspiring, and beautiful.
Repeat after me..”It’s okay to make mistakes, It’s okay to have a bad day, It’s okay if you can’t make everybody happy, It’s okay to do what’s best for you, It’s okay to let go and above all, It’s okay to be yourself”
Be perfectly imperfect.
